simple truths
“You know, back in 2000 a Republican friend of mine warned me that if I voted for Al Gore and he won, the stock market would tank, we'd lose millions of jobs, and our military would be totally overstretched.

You know what? I did vote for Al Gore, he did win, and I'll be damned if all those things didn't come true.”

A Moral Dilemma
THE MORAL DILEMMA

This test has only one question, but it's a very important one. By giving an honest answer, you'll discover where you stand morally. It's a completely fictitious situation but you'll need to make a decision that's honest yet spontaneous.

You are in Miami, Florida. There's chaos all around you due to a hurricane with severe flooding. This is a flood of biblical proportions. You are a photojournalist for a major newspaper, and you're caught in the middle of this epic disaster. The situation is nearly hopeless. You're attempting to shoot career-making photos. There are houses and people swirling around you, some disappearing under the water. Nature is unleashing all of its

Suddenly you see a man floundering in the water. He is fighting for his life, trying not to be taken down with the debris. You move closer..somehow, he looks familiar. You suddenly realize who it is.

It's George W. Bush!

At the same time, you notice that the raging waters are about to take him under.....forever. You have two options: you can save the life of G.W. Bush

or

you can shoot a dramatic, Pulitzer Prize winning photo, documenting the death of one of the world's most powerful men.

So, here's the question, and please give an honest answer:

Would you select high contrast color film or would you go with the classic simplicity of black and white?

“What we find is that a whopping 86% of Americans believe that there need to be stricter laws and regulations to protect the environment; 77% think it is more important to maintain government services such as Medicare, Social Security and Medicaid than to cut taxes; 72% of Americans favor stricter laws related to the control of handguns; 63% of Americans favor affirmative action programs designed to help blacks, women and other minorities get better jobs and education; 62% don't think Roe v. Wade should be overturned by the Supreme Court; and 62% would prefer a universal health insurance program run by the government and financed by taxpayers.

On virtually every issue, public opinion polls show that consumer preferences are for the policies of the Democrats, and not for those of the GOP. Republicans offer inferior, less desirable policy solutions, while Democrats offer superior policies that are preferred by the majority of Americans.”
